Lake Manyara lions are known to reside in the branches of trees where they can both relax and watch for prey while Serengeti is where the great wildebeest migration to Masai Mara commences every year around May and June. Itinerary

    Nairobi/Amboseli
    Pick up upon arrival at JKIA in the morning and drive along Mombasa road via Emali to Amboseli Game Reserve to reach your camp in time for lunch followed by afternoon game drive with the snowcapped Mt Kilimanjaro in the background. Overnight at your lodge/Camp (LD)

    Amboseli National Park
    Day spent viewing game with morning and afternoon game drive. Amboseli park (392 sq. km) is supported by swamp vegetation and harbors elephants, buffaloes, hippos, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, gazelles, wildebeests, warthogs, zebras, ostriches and Masai giraffes in the background of the magnificent snow caped Mt. Kilimanjaro. The waters from melted snow find their way down the mountain under lava flows and surface on the Amboseli plains in form of swamps. Overnight at your lodge/camp (BLD)

    Amboseli/Lake Naivasha
    After early breakfast we depart at 0730 am for Lake Naivasha to reach your camp in time for lunch. After lunch, we have a tour of Hells Gate National Park, which is a remarkable quarter of the Great Rift Valley. Spectacular scenery including the towering cliffs, water-gouged gorges, stark rock towers, scrub clad volcanoes and belching plumes of geothermal steam make it one of the most atmospheric Parks in Africa. In addition to the bio-diversity that includes raptors, visitors can enjoy (optional) walking, mountain biking, rock climbing and a natural spa.” Animals found here include the African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson's gazelle and baboons as well as the klipspringer antelope and Chandler’s mountain reedbuck. There are over 100 species of birds in the park, including vultures, Verreaux's Eagles, augur buzzard and swifts. Overnight at your lodge/camp(BLD)

    Lake Naivasha/Lake Nakuru
    After breakfast we depart at 930am to Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at your camp. We then have afternoon tour of Lake Nakuru, which is a seasonal homefor the Flamingo (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds including a variety of terrestrial birds numbering about 450 species in total. It is also a sanctuary for the black and white rhinos as well as the Rothschild giraffe and harbours lions, warthogs, waterbucks, buffaloes, hippo Pythons and many other animals. Here you will definitely see rhinos. Overnight at your lodge/camp (BLD)

    24/7/2020-Lake Nakuru/Masai Mara
    Depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve after an early breakfast top reach your camp in time for lunch. The reserve is popular for its big game and is a northern extension of the Serengeti National Park eco system in Tanzania. Thereafter-afternoon game drive. Overnight at your lodge/camp (BLD)

    Masai Mara National Park
    2 days spent game viewing with morning and afternoon game drive to experience the Mara magic! Kenya’s premier reserve is famed for its astounding concentration of wildlife and harboring lions, leopards, cheetah, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, Masai giraffes, hippos, black rhinos, spotted hyenas many species of antelopes. The climax is the annual great wildebeest migration in July, August, September and October of each year. Visit Mara River to see crocodiles and hippos. In addition, there are more than 470 species in the park with almost 60 species being raptors. The birds include vultures, marabou storks, secretary birds, hornbills, crowned cranes, ostriches, long-crested eagles, African pygmy-falcons and the lilac-breasted roller.     After breakfast, we transfer you to JKIA in time for your homebound flight (B) END OF SAFARI

What you need to bring on safari

  • Money for personal spending and tipping
  • A pair of long trousers and jersey for the cool mornings and evenings in addition to plenty of light clothes for hot days (do not forget a hat), swim suit, comfortable shoes/sandals
  • Torch, sunglasses, suntan lotion, insect repellent/spray
  • Camera, memory cards, binoculars, maps, guide-books
  • Personal toiletries e.g. toothbrush/paste etc.
  • All personal travel insurance

NB: Ban on plastic water bottles in Kenya’s National Parks, Game Reserves&Conservancies as from 1 July 2020 hence visitors are required to carry their own water bottles as a measure to protect the environment.
